It is located in southeastern coast of Neduntheevu. It was used as a navigation point (also says as lighthouse) by the Dutch and British. Fire was set at the bottom, which creates a vacuum forcing air upwards and its light was passed through tower's chimney-like tube to the top where sailors able to see light from distance. Another tower known as the "King's Tower" operated during British period on the island.
